Job Description

The Marketing Assistant is focused on segment, brand and channel support in areas of data, analysis, insight development and execution of marketing plans to deliver upon PPG and segment goals. The role will work closely with the Marketing Manager & Assoociate Marketing Manager and Account teams!

Key Responsibilities:

* Management of the development, production and implementation of marketing and channel tactics.

* Lead and/or support the delivery/execution and communication of programs and promotions. Facilitate the creation and distribution of marketing materials for program support and sell in. Work with internal cross-functional partners and field sales in the management, design and production of tools, collateral and program training.

* Know and understand budget parameters including sales, volume, margin and marketing A&P. Monitor and track spend as well as ROI analysis to ensure effective spend. Manage purchase orders and input of marketing spend into applicable internal systems.

* Know and understand business parameters including sales, volume, margin and marketing A&P. Lead analysis, recommendations and presentation of bi-monthly internal Day 10 meetings

* Gather and analyze market, customer and competitive information/insight in order to help guide the successful execution of the brand and channel marketing plans as measured by sales, volume, margin and brand health.

* Provide channel, end user and competitive information to support the identification of promotional, innovation and portfolio product opportunities. Contribute information and analysis, and participate in the creation and launch of new product opportunities.

* Work closely with channel partners to develop and execute in-store activation. Work with cross functional teams and agencies to support the execution of both planned and opportunistic marketing programs. Develop a thorough understanding of the customer to advise in-store strategy, execution, and opportunities. Role will work with account teams to analyze and track programs versus stated goals.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in marketing or related field are required.
* 1 to 3 years of marketing experience.
* Self-starter with high customer orientation, strong problem solving abilities, project management skills and be able execute project plans in a complex, matrix organization.
* Entry level sales or marketing professional with experiences in problem solving, project management, customer service, retail and communications.
