Responsibilities:

Workforce Enablement develops the employee enabling technology experience for most all domestic and international business units of The Walt Disney Company. With the rapid change in how employees and cast members create the magic every day, you will help develop a strategic architecture that leverages the best of the virtual desktop services available to deliver a truly differentiated employee-centric experience. Through this internship you will have many opportunities to advance the future of the workplace experience.

* You will work on establishing an architectural framework for how the virtual desktop service will integrate with Enterprise Technology and business area applications aligned to company Information Security policies
* Integrate service into SaaS Identity and Access Management including Directory Services (Azure Active Directory)
* Develop high level technical and financial service models
* Implement a MVP pilot program for business unit testing

Basic Qualifications:

- Academic, internship, or self-driven experience in two or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, C, Ruby, Python
- Passion for software engineering and user experience
- Interest in troubleshooting and exploration of solutions
- Must be self-motivated, have a strong team orientation, learn quickly and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills; Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with Azure

Required Education

Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior level student or recent graduate pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field.
Additional Information:

Internship Eligibility:

* Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 18 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
* Must possess unrestricted work authorization
* Must provide full work availability
* Must provide own transportation to/from work (if it becomes in-person)
* Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)

Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship 10-12 weeks starting in May/June.
