* COMMERCIAL LEAD:
* Key resource in the development and commercialization of new product and packaging innovation for North America.
* Collaborates with STILLS Marketing, Retail Sales, Franchise Leadership, Supply Chain, and the broader Commercial/Innovation Organization to successfully execute innovation initiatives utilizing the Common Innovation Framework (CIF) methodology and standard tools & processes.
* Ensure representation of channel needs and proper translation of brand strategies across retail & foodservice channels
* Partners with brand team to ensure Commercial leadership organization serves as a single source of direction to customers and bottlers, converting transformation brand strategies into actionable plans
* Coordinates with respective Category Commercial Directors to communicate initiatives to bottlers and customer teams
* INNOVATION & PROGRAM LEADERSHIP:
* Directs and stewards commercial development of new item introductions
* Accountable for program leadership across channels, including priority FSOP channels
* Consult on DME and/or GTM funding decisions to support shopper marketing needs

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Serves as the primary source of commercial operations feedback to the brand/category teams from customers, channels, and bottler teams
* Provides high-level perspective and analysis on pricing/trade structure, commercialization, operational issues, and other commercial topics across channels
* Lead development of tools and initiative tracking for driving key launch success criteria and best-in-class execution
* Collaborates with the broader commercial team to ensure the application of key category plans into channel commercial plans and the annual picture of success
* Responsible for coordinating creation of each Operating Plan chapter with key cross-functional partners, publishing on-time & in-full, with key updates provided as required
* Collaborates with RGM to ensure channel coherency planning as it affects category
* Coordinates with RGM and channel strategy the commercial execution required to launch in-market product/package pilots (e.g., sell-in decks, supply chain toolkits, post-test analysis)
* Coordinates innovation development forecasting requirements through iterative process and secures launch demand requirements from RGM and bottler teams
* Partners with operations and program management to enable system manufacturing and supply chain capabilities in order to support initiative requirements
* Serves as the primary source of feedback to the brand/category from channels, customers and bottler teams
* Support category/brand teams in determining DMI program budget, manages the program DMI allocation across channels/customers and re-allocates funding based on performance
* Manages requirements for innovation sales samples and develops plans to enable national and local sales teams to authorize new innovation
* Lead as project manager both product/package expansions and programs across a designated brand or package portfolio
* Secure and manage cross-functional resources as needed when
* Develop and execute project plans against standard timelines
* Steward projects through the CIF process as appropriate and maintaining initiatives in the Coke Works system
* Facilitate identification of project risks and establishing risk management plans
* Execute project close-outs and project post-launch reviews as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

Minimum Required: Bachelors degree

Preferred Level: MBA or other graduate degree

Experience

Minimum Required:

* 5-7 years of experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry
* Basic working knowledge of supply chain and forecasting processes
* Proven track record of ability to not only embrace change but drive it
* Planning experience; strategic thinking (forward-looking vision and anticipating of future needs)
* Proactive leadership style
* Proven track record for ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable results
* Collaborating key internal/external stakeholders; effective in influencing wide variety of stakeholders
* Effectively communicates & builds relationships at all organizational levels; communicates long-term vision and shorter-term opportunities through clear & simple messages
* Ability to influence and gain alignment across diverging perspectives

Preferred Level:

* 7-10 years of experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry
* Brand/category management experience
* Experience in coordinating Pricing & Promotion structures
* General management experience
* Customer/Sales management experience
* Leadership experience in multiple (2-3) channels (e.g., large store, small store, food service, specialty stores, etc.)
* Experience in multiple capabilities in a CPG organization (e.g., sales and shopper marketing, or RGM and strategy, etc.)
* Strong track record of leadership across cross-functional teams
* Planning experience; strategic thinking (forward-looking vision and anticipating of future needs)
