What’s the role?

The U.S. is a critical country for Shell and the role Business Support, U.S. Corporate Relations, will play a critical role in the company’s success. This role presents an opportunity to work with a wide range of senior country and business leaders, and Corporate Relations professionals representing a wide range of businesses within the larger enterprise.

This role will support the Head of U.S. Corporate Relations and Leadership Team: Duties include:

Exec Admin for Head of CR playing an integral role in managing external and internal meetings and events.

Being responsible for coordination of Head US CR engagements, preparation of meeting materials, creation and maintenance of US CR communication and briefing templates, establishing a cadence for and coordination of US CR team meetings including agenda/meeting materials

Focal point for key, senior external and internal executives engaging with the US CR team

Managing all processes associated with non-disposable records, play a key role in daily operations of US CR function; facilitating internal communications on behalf of Head of CR and within office; point of contact between various CR LT members

Welcoming guests to DC office on behalf of Head, US CR and other team members as needed, assist with office events

Coordinating with US CR Compliance Lead to assist US CR team with E and C compliance

Coordinating with Senior Transformation Lead to deploy CR innovation among US CR team

What we need from you

Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.

Bachelor's degree is required.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in administrative or executive management is required.

Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and an ability to synthesize and manage large quantities of highly dynamic data and inputs.

Self-starter—ability to see or anticipate issues and quickly address them.

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Shell Workday, Travel system, and E&C systems.
