The Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Exploitation (OES) team at Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Software Engineer based out of Boulder, CO.

What You rsquo;ll get to Do:

Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with other teams (Integration amp; Verification, etc.) in the planning, design, development, and utilization of data processing systems for products solving our customer requirements.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* For a Software Engineer: Bachelor rsquo;s degree in Computer Science or other STEM related degree with 2 + years of software development experience; 0 years with a Master 39;s; or 6 years of software development experience in lieu of a degree.
* For a Principal Engineer Software: Bachelor rsquo;s degree in Computer Science or other STEM related degree with 5 + years of software development experience; 3 years with a Master 39;s; 0 years with a PhD; or 9 years of software development experience in lieu of a degree.
* Active DoD Secret Clearance
* C/C++ software development
* Linux (RedHat) operating system development

Preferred Qualifications:

- Top Secret/SCI clearance

- Containerization knowledge/experience (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Knowledge of DevSecOps principals

-Matlab or algorithm analysis tools experience

- Agile development experience

- Configuration management for software, e.g. GIT

- Full software development lifecycle experience

- Software development environment experience

-Knowledge of ground system mission processing

-Knowledge of parametric based processing and tracking algorithms

- Experience working in teams to develop SW and troubleshoot SW to find/fix defects

- Experience in the development of User Interface, process control, and/or algorithms

Salary range for a Software Engineer: $81,664-$122-496

Salary range for a Principal Software Engineer: $101,200-$151,800
