Are you ready to join a team of passionate multi-skilled engineers and technicians in the development of complex electronics that make peoples lives safer?

We are looking for a highly skilled self-motivated Sr. Electronics Technician to help support the engineering team during the development, qualification and light run manufacturing. This position requires a high level understanding of electronics theory, test and application as well as excellent communication skills and the desire to continuously learn.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Troubleshoot, repair and modify complex electronic assemblies

* Support EMI and Environmental Qualification planning and test

* Supervise other lab personnel and assign and monitor activities.

* Analyze and report lab schedule and cost.

* Assemble experimental circuitry according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, verbal instructions, and knowledge of electronic systems and components.

* Create and release test plans for printed circuit assemblies

* Write technical reports and develop charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system operating characteristics, malfunctions, and deviations from design specifications, for review and consideration by engineering team

* Participate in design reviews and technical presentation development and delivery.

* Perform studies and research to make recommendations regarding materials, parts or equipment.

* Expert at the application of electronic theory to configure, model, layout, build, test, troubleshoot, and modify electronic product for engineering development.

* Experience using optical measurement equipment.

* Ability to work independently on long term project goals with minimal supervision.

* Ability to support factory transition of new products and provide ongoing factory support of legacy products.

* Must be able to handle multiple actions at one time, and in some cases self-prioritize to meet new challenges.

* Proficient in automated data acquisition and script generation.

* Ability to read and understand product requirements, and to use those requirements to assist with the development of hardware integration and verification procedures. The hardware tests may be performed on a top level unit, card level, or a single complex device (FPGA, or Microcontroller).

Basic Qualifications:

* AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience

* Associates degree in electronics technology or electrical engineering technology

* Previous experience as an electronics technician

* Excellent written and verbal communication

* Strong organizational and leadership skills
