NOV Rig Technologies is currently recruiting for a Rig Consultant to join our team at Bammel Training Center in Houston, TX.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Train field operators on running NOV equipment.
* Provide technical support to customers.
* Learn new tools and deliver training to customers.
* Interact with Engineering and Sales department as necessary.
* Generate and advise customers on reporting functions.
* Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
* Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide daily reports as required
* Performs other work-related tasks as assigned by Manager
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Degree or 5 plus years industry experience to include drilling

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
* Experience in NOVOS/MMC Drilling Operations
* Experience with drilling equipment and functionality
* Possess knowledge of Amphion/Cyberbase Control Systems.
* Possess a basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
* Experience in Windows 7 and 10 configurations and network
* Basic knowledge of Linux systems.
* Basic knowledge of Siemens PLC
