Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Work as a full stack engineer creating innovative technology. Solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally. Design and implement micro services and its user interface in Java/React.js leveraging Spring Framework. Use messaging frameworks like UM to integrate and establish communication between different microservices. Write test cases using TDD/BDD approach with emphasis on high maintainability. Work as part of an Agile team, attending daily Scrums and iteratively releasing code in Sprints. Participate in code review sessions - peer reviews and group reviews. Develop scalable services using mock testing frameworks and other tools. Participate in the API design sessions and selection of design patterns that are selected for use by the team. Provide technical documentation of service API using Swagger. Implement logging, auditability, security, and monitoring features.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field plus 2 years of experience in application development and financial modeling, or related experience; OR a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field plus 5 years of experience in Application Development, and Financial Modeling or related experience.

Skills required: Experience with Object Oriented Programming Languages including Java. Experience with Relational Databases and SQL. Experience with Messaging Architecture, including UM. Experience with Java frameworks, including Spring and Hibernate. Experience with JPA and JMS. Experience with Web Development tools. Experience with Cloud platform. Experience with Testing frameworks Junit and Cucumber. Experience with Micro services architecture. Experience with Agile Development Methodology. Experience with CI/CD pipeline.
