The Commercial, Civil, and International (CCI) Business Development and Strategy (BD&S) Director is responsible for the development of CCI product line strategies to achieve business goals aligned with customer plans and programs. This position requires in depth knowledge of how to create, capture and win new business. The job emphasis includes an ability for large program capture management as well as a mission area strategy based on knowledge of current commercial, civil, & International customer missions, space technology including CCI capabilities, as well as, all aspects for end to end space segment. It also requires a technical enough ability to work with engineering teams to successfully create and capture complex development programs. This role will oversee all strategy and business development of the CCI portfolio with a projected $250M+ in annual sales (and correlated Bookings)

* Aggressively identify, assess, and develop new business opportunities, and position new business resources to achieve growth objectives for pursuits that individually range from $10sM - >$100sM+
* Conduct market analysis, develop strategies and lead execution of the strategy, in conjunction with the Product Line leader and Product Line BD Lead.
* Develop and manage customer relationships at all levels; develop and execute customer engagement plans, evaluate customer relationships and adjust strategy as required. In conjunction with Product Line Leaders, must create, analyze and articulate innovative solutions to militarily significant problems in support of both domestic and international opportunities that smartly leverage commonality of design and design for exportability to obtain most efficient and effective use of company investments and savvy mission area and business unit commonality strategies.

Required skills:

* Active DoD Top Secret Clearance/SCI desired
* Knowledge of Commercial, Civil, & International Space Customers
* 14 years of experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in all phases of business development from opportunity validation to capture
* Ability to translate mission needs into system solutions and provides advanced guidance for complex missions crossing multiple agencies.
* Experience managing multi-disciplined matrixed teams
* Managing budgets
* U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position desires an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
* U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
