As the Enterprise Common Classified (ECC) Northeast Data Center (NEDC) Service Owner, you will collaborate and partner with a diverse cross-section of DT, Engineering, and Program teammates supporting Raytheon's programs in order to continually improve the quality and cost of DT environments and overall service delivery. Reporting to the RMD ECC Operations Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Northeast Data Center, coordinate resources tasked with break/fix and compliance items, managing budgets associated with labor and material, and support of critical capabilities to our customers across the enterprise for a large multi-program connected set of programs.
This role will include responsibilities that include the following:
* Own operational control of an enterprise classified network which supports all RMD Business Units and spans 750+ auditable devices over 35 locations.
* Implement innovative enterprise grade solutions using upgraded technology to the classified program space.
* Oversee an AOP of over $5M a year
* Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies and act upon them, partnering with other teams within DT, Cyber, and other functions to realize positive outcomes
* Lead IT service-related issues prevention and implement effective change to eliminate recurrence
* Leverage and develop appropriate relationships with vendors, functional partners, and other business DT organizations to support the delivery of ECC capabilities to program environments.
* Leverage Scrum, Agile and DevOps practices in order to manage daily priorities and ensure alignment across enterprise for development execution needs
* Prepare project execution plans and identify appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team.
* Partner and collaborate with solution architects to infuse new technologies and services into the multi-program area and information systems architecture and increase the use of standardized solutions
* Align closely with DTPLs/GPLs for programs that are customers of the eWAN, as well as the NEDC System Administrators, and Network Engineers to ensure excellent operational performance
* Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meets technical requirements of the assignment
* Coordinate and maintain internal and external communication with development/user organizations
* Support change control best practices and lead the process for your assigned areas
* Develop and maintain strong internal partner relationships, and advocate for their needs
* Support programs and pursuits via occasional International and/or Domestic travel
This role requires strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, extensive industry and technical experience, as is the ability to develop and leverage a broad network of teammates within and outside of the Raytheon Community), other Raytheon subject matter experts and Corporate IT), and the vendor/supplier community.
This position is located in Tewksbury, MA with potential for domestic travel. Capped Budget Relocation will be available to the selected applicant if they are eligible per company policy.
This position requires an Active US DOD Secret Security Clearance on Day one of employment. Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
* Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering or STEM field strongly preferred; Business/Non Tech Degree/ MBA with technology coursework with related work experience will be considered.
* Strong technical understanding of Servers (Windows, Unix, Linux), Storage, Virtualization / Cloud technologies, and networking systems
* Maintenance of technical and operational roadmaps in partnership with architecture and functional leads to guide investment and project sequencing for the datacenter.
* Incident and problem management related to the datacenter and the ECC network as a whole.
* Experience deploying new capabilities in classified processing and communications systems in an operational environment, including the modernization of legacy environments
* Experience in ITIL and service management frameworks or strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and Scrum practices
* Experience and knowledge of best practices in IT security
* Strong program/project management experience (minimum of 4 years professional experience)
* Experience with Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
* Experience in developing and communicating a business case for investment to senior management and executive audiences
* Minimum of 10 years professional experience leading teams as a leader, architect, manager, project manager, or program manager
* Ability to support occasional domestic travel
* A US DoD Secret Clearance is required for this role

* Superior written and oral communication skills; ability to clearly articulate ideas, process steps, and technical data in written, graphical, and spoken dialogue
* Experience designing and/or deploying service support models that incorporate cloud solutions, including IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions in hybrid cloud environments
* Proven success working within a large multi-disciplined team track record of adherence to cost and schedule
* Scaled Agile for Enterprise (SAFe) agile execution experience and familiarity with Jira planning tool
