Job Description:
Raytheon is looking for a Program Engineer (PE) to lead engineering project teams in close coordination with the Cobra Dane Program Office. The PE role includes the engineering management of awarded programs as well as new business pursuits.

On awarded programs, in general, the PE is responsible for program execution and monitoring of the engineering solution, including cost, schedule, and technical performance. The PE works closely with Control Account Managers (CAM) for the collection and analysis of performance metrics, development of Estimate At Completes (EAC), and variance analysis reporting. Other activities include Engineering Labor Forecasting (ELF), coordination of engineering efforts across project teams, meeting attendance, participation in Change Control, Risk and Opportunity Boards, and presenting monthly project status reports to senior leadership. In addition to these, on the Cobra Dane program in particular, the PE is responsible for the successful implementation of Agile in the hardware development effort.

On new business pursuits, generally, the PE responsibilities include engineering performance to New Business Initiative (NBI) budgets, coordinating engineering team activities to develop competitive and executable proposals and basis of estimates (BOE), obtaining functional and/or supporting organization bid approvals, staffing projections, and preparing/presenting Engineering Bid Reviews (EBR) to senior leadership.

This position offers an opportunity for an individual with hands-on engineering and management expertise and strong human relations skills to demonstrate their leadership capability, proposal development, team building and technical skills. The PE works closely with Engineering, Program Management, Business Development, solution architects, Supply Chain Management and operations personnel during all phases of new business acquisition, program startup, execution and closeout.

Candidate must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET clearance.

May require travel as necessary, dependent upon prevailing travel restriction and quarantine requirements.

Required Skills:

* At least, 6-8 years of related work experience
* EVMS certification
* Project/Team leadership experience
* Communication/presentation skills
* Use of Agile for Hardware development

Desired Skills:

* Recent Control Account Manager experience
* New business pursuit experience to include capture/proposal to closeout experience

Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) degree program.
