Raytheon Missiles & Defense has an excellent opportunity for a Material Program Manager (MPM) who will perform as a key member of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization and be responsible for supporting and working Customer Proposal and Program Start-Up / Execution efforts in the Advanced Technology (AT) Mission Area. You will be able to telecommute when not needed on-site on an as needed basis.

You will be the liaison between the program office, engineering, operations, quality, contracts, finance and the supply chain organization and responsible to ensure the successful development, coordination and execution of all program requirements and material strategies are being met and Program/Product Line business objectives are achieved.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
* Working closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier management and execution in supporting program needs and requirements
* Develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
* Generating Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFPs / RFQs)
* Gate Review preparation and/or support
* Supporting Prime Contract Proposal activities for Suppliers and SCM BOEs
* Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications
* Obtaining, understanding and processing Supplier proposals/quotes
* Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statement of Work (SSOWs)
* Generating and processing Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests
* Generate and manage SCM Material Sales, Estimate At Completion (EAC) and Risk & Opportunities
* Purchase Order Place Plan generation and update
* Purchase Requisition generation and Purchase Order placement and management
* Line of Balance (LOB) execution and maintenance
* Lead Make/Buy decisions and affordability efforts for program material
* Assist and/or Lead negotiations on Material with Suppliers and/or the Customer
* Preparing and executing Material Program Plans (MPPs)
* Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure a healthy, effective, efficient and successful supply base
* Generating mitigations and/or resolving issues impacting/effecting all of the above

Required Skills:

* A minimum of eight (8) years progressive experience in a similar role which can include a combination of Supply Chain, Contracts, Operations, Production Control, Program Planner, Material Estimating, and/or Finance experience is required
* Current, Active Secret security clearance
* Experience in a cross functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment managing multiple priorities
* This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Education (including Major):

* Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain or similar is required
