PERSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
Certified NA I: Performs basic nursing skills and personal care activities for patients/residents under the direction of the Registered/Licensed Practical Nurse. Practices within the Nursing Assistant's scope and according to Person Memorial Hospital policies/procedures/standards.
Certified NA II: Performs complex nursing assistant skills for patients/residents under the direction of the Registered/Licensed Practical Nurse. Practices within the Nursing Assistant's scope and according to Person Memorial Hospital policies/procedures/standards.
Reports to: Department Director
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Grade: G01 & G04
Job Requirements
Nursing Assistants
CNA I: Must be listed with the Division of Facility Services Nurse Aide Registry.CNA II: Listing with Division of Facility Services Nurse Aide Registry. Listing with the NC Board of Nurse Aide II Registry.Must have a current BLS by the completion of the Clinical Orientation.
Minimum Work ExperienceEmployee can be newly licensed and hold a high school diploma/GED equivalent. If the employee does not hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent then must have worked as a Certified Nurses Aide for a minimum 6 months.
