Job Description
This Director of Enterprise Digital Engineering team will be tasked to lead Engineering teams that are creating a best in class consumer experience focused on identifying, prioritizing, shaping, complex enterprise initiatives in partnership with Digital Product Managers. At CVS, the digital team manages the websites, apps and messaging platforms that support each business segment, and this role must provide a digital-first perspective to help realize the business goals. This is an instrumental role in the oversight and execution of digital programs supporting several pharmacy programs that generate multi-million dollar business value to the organization and touch millions of consumers. his role has significant relationships with business stakeholders (Marketing, Operations, Formulary, Pharmacy, and other Teams) as well as digital functional teams (Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, Design and Product Owners) driving results in a matrixed environment.
This role works with a top-notch organization of software developers who identify, design and deliver technology solutions using Angular, Data power, Nodejs, Native to achieve the defined business value. It is critical that you have in depth background in Agile Scrum and XP software development methodology.
You will have an ability to manage large projects and collaborate with multiple partners, including the different departments across CVS Health such as: PBM, Retail, and Digital teams. We ask that you have executive presence, presentation delivery skills, and the ability to connect with diverse teams and levels of senior leaders.
You will guide the integration and validation of complex technology solutions and have proven experience with innovative technological improvements to include the architecture and roadmap working across technical organizations and senior leaders. Familiarity in pharmacy regulations is preferred.
Required Qualifications
Partnering with Architecture to execute on future state of products
Experience of enabling trains/teams under scaled agile (SAFe) framework
Experience leading a SAFe Value Stream/Train from Engineering perspective
Experience of Building customer oriented (member / clinician/provider) products that perform at scale
Experience of developing products in Web Technologies such as Mobile Applications (iOS/Android), Databases such as SQL Server/Oracle, Backend components using C/Java, and IBM APIc.
Experience with growing and improving Engineering processes
Experience of hiring and retaining technical talent and building high performing teams
Experience of supporting career progression for Engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience of providing technology leadership for developing products in Angular JS, Java Springboot, Node.js, Vordel/APIGEE
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field with or equivalent experience preferred.
