Northrop Grumman MissionSystems has an opening for a Manager Field Engineering Services 2 to join ourteam of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Mayport,Florida. The selected candidate will be responsible for daily operations of ateam or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work,schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs).
Essential Functions:
This leadership positionis responsible for leading a diverse and innovative team in identifying,analyzing, testing and integrating manufacturing processes and systems within aportfolio of current and next generation products at the Littoral Combat Ship(LCS) Mission Package Support Facility (MPSF).

This position has approximately13 direct reporting engineers and engineering technicians with theresponsibility to manage and plan detailed schedules through multiple fundingstreams, amp; ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Requirementsalso include providing engineering guidance regarding detailed designs andrequirements for producible and affordable products and manufacturingtechniques. Responsible to attract and retain the best possible athletes forthe stated requirements, ensure robust processes, and the development of futureemerging leaders within the organization. Ensure processes and procedures arein compliance with company and government regulations.
Position requiresoutstanding written and oral communication skills with a high level of internaland external engagement, acting as an advisor to individual contributors,senior management and customers on advanced technical research studies andapplications.
'Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience in a Leadership role OR Associates Degree with 7 years of experience in a Leadership role, or a High School diploma/equivalent with 9 years experience in a Leadership role
* 10 years experience within a government maintenance environment
* 6 year of previous leadership or supervisory experience in a government maintenance or operations/assembly environment
* Must have a current active DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance to be considered
* Must have advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel amp; PowerPoint) and the ability to effectively communicate with various levels of leadership
* Must be available to work any shift
* Travel 10 - 25%

* Masters degree
* 10+ years of professional experience within one or more business functions: Logistics, Maintenance Control, quality, mission assurance, engineering, information technology
