The Integrated Supply Chain Logistics Materials Management Department at Florida Power & Light Company is seeking an Associate Inventory Services Specialist to join their team at our Toledo Blade Service Center, North Port, FL.
The selected candidate for this role will:
Operate a forklift to load, unload, pick, and position materials to facilitate transportation and inventory operations;
Pick and palletize material for jobs, requisitions, and stock transport orders (STOs);
Operate banding and wrapping equipment to prepare materials for shipping;
Coordinate material requests and performs inventory counts.

Job Overview
This position performs basic technical tasks of limited scope and routine nature, to support the daily warehouse activities of the organization.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Performs material receipt inspection, processes receiving reports, and prepares and processes unsatisfactory/non-conforming receipt reports
Coordinates material requests and performs inventory counts
Develops a working knowledge of electronic and/or manual inventory management systems
Develops an understanding of inventory variance reconciliation methods and processes
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
