The Challenge / Job

As the Data Scientist in the Global Experience Management Office (XMO) you will bring the power of our data to SAP, itself. You will help analyze our own experience, operational and product data to build and grow a deeply impactful XM program with a keen focus on visualizing results in Qualtrics Dashboards. The data engineering and analytics you deliver will strategically advance how SAP ideates, builds, measures, and improves its own experience for employees, customers and partners. You will use your background in Qualtrics to create useful projects and programs (e.g., Customer Loyalty Program, Partner Loyalty Program, Touchpoint surveys and cross journey measurement) to present comprehensive views of experience with SAP process, services and products. You will continue to build models and look for opportunities to leverage data across the company as we build a world-class XM Program at SAP.

You excel at understanding how data flows into surveys, workflows and dashboards in Qualtrics and develop strategies and tools to help the XMO bring data together from across the company. Consolidate data from different experience data and operational data to power research projects in order to analyze the feedback. You love turning data into insights. You thrive when people take action on the insights you provide. You have SAP internal stakeholders craving more. You understand the importance of mining our own data with the goal of providing input to our case studies and suggestions for improvements to our own products and services. You work effectively cross-team and you understand the importance of building strong relationships and earning trust and credibility. You have successfully helped the XMO bring our insights to life through story telling with data.

A Day in the Life

· Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions to support our own programs on the XM platform (Qualtrics).

· Interacts with XMO, regional areas, functional and solution areas to identify questions and issues for, data analysis, data visualizations and experiments.

· Develops standards for best practices on the best ways to design, implement and run projects and progams on the Qualtrics Platform.

· Identifies meaningful insights from surveys across projects, programs and brands of Qualtrics.

· Be an internal leader in statistics including descriptive statistics, correlation, regression and advanced assisiting with modeling.

Your Background

You are a Qualtrics nerd and a data junkie and you know how to extract and ingest data into Qualtrics for the business to use. You are able to simplify the complexity in working with data. You can tell stories with

data and can demonstrate how you have used data to change thoughts about how things work. You care about understanding the customer, partner and employee experiences and want SAP to deliver experiences that align strategically with business goals. You know how to mine data in Qualtrics and turn it into measurable outputs that push understanding and action.

Minimum Qualifications

· Master’s or Bachelors Degree in BA/BS in Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Finance, Management, Marketing or Social Science

· 3+ years work experience

· Strong quantitative analytical skills with competence in techniques such as discriptive statistics, correlation, regression and KPI metric development.

· In-depth knowledge of the Qualtrics platform understanding the end to end flow of building surveys, workflows, dashboards and ticketing.

· Basic knowledge of brand administration tool in Qualtrics to support user management and implement data retention and annonymization policies within the platform.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills to present analysis and insights including trends and opportunities to stakeholders and the business

· Believes in eating one's own dog food and using that experience to drive the creation of exceptional customer facing products

· High standard of detail, excellence, professionalism, and role model behavior

Preferred Qualifications

· Familiarity with Qualtrics API’s to ingest and export data to and from the platform (e.g. Qualtrics, etc.) is desired. Ability to script APIs around Qualtrics using databricks is a plus.
