Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Modeling Simulation and Analysis Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will be part of the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program (Minuteman III ICBM replacement) development contract. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force rsquo;s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
SEI Modeling, Simulation amp; Analysis, AVE MS amp;A integration lead is responsible for communication with and alignment of AVE MS amp;A CDRLs including Analysis Technical Data, Model V amp;V Plans and Reports, Mod/Sim development, and oversee implementation in a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment for MS amp;A Products.
The perfect candidate will have Systems Engineer experienced with a focus in physics based performance modeling, model maturation, and analysis requirement definition and model verification and validation. Within the modeling, simulation, and analysis IPT, lead the development and integration of physics based models and simulations for the GBSD program. Requires cross team coordination, cross IPT and mission/system thinker.
The candidate should have broad technical experiences in mechanical engineering and/or aerospace engineering disciplines.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor rsquo;s degree in engineering disciplines from an accredited university + 9 years of related experience or Master rsquo;s degree + 7 years or PhD + 5 years
* Active DoD Secret clearance granted or investigated in the last 6 years
* 2+ years of experience with physics based mod/sim, model maturation, and system performance analysis
* Experience in team environment with leadership responsibilities including communication and driving tasking to closure to ensure customer satisfaction and program goals.
* Experience with model based system engineering (MBSE) environment trained in the practice of using modern modeling languages like SysML, UML, UPDM and knowledgeable of the DoDAF and MoDAF frameworks
* Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and analytic skills
* Works well in a team environment

* Experience using enterprise amp; system modeling tools like No Magic Cameo Enterprise Architecture
