The SMB and Marketplaces Finance Manager will develop tools & financial models to support the planning and forecasting processes of PP SMB and Marketplace segments. This position will also involve working with the SMB and Marketplaces Sales Leadership and wider FP&A team to produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and reviewing monthly forecasts and annual budget. It will also require collaboration with different stakeholders to gather inputs, summarize insights and produce executive level presentations. Key focus will be to drive optimal decision making through financial modelling and quantitative analysis
 

Core responsibilities:

Partner closely with Sales to develop a deep understanding of PayPal’s business across different PayPal’s regions & segments and drafting CEO & CFO Board presentations.
Develop & maintain tools & financial models to support the planning & forecasting processes of PP SMB and Marketplaces segment
Provide detailed strategic insight into the dynamics of the differing parts of the SMB and Marketplaces business and deep dives to Sales Leadership
Drive optimal decision making through insightful models and analytical tools & use of extensive financial and quantitative analysis, modelling, including revenue variance analyses.
Work with SMB and Marketplaces Sales Leadership and different FP&A team members to produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, produce analytical dashboards and review monthly forecasts.
Drive analytics tools and process strategies, partnering with Sales and global FP&A and technology teams.

Education required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; MBA/Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field preferred
Advanced Proficiency with MS Office specifically with Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated proficiency in large database manipulation through standard access tools, such as SQL and reporting tools (Essbase)

Job Requirements:

8+ years of relevant experience within strategic finance, ideally at a high-growth technology company, investment banking or management consulting
Bachelor's degree in business, finance/accounting or similar field is required; Master’s degree preferred
A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners; you are seen as a trusted and objective advisor
Extensive experience building detailed financial analysis that is used to drive business decisions
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills is a must, including the ability to explain and present analyses
Self-starter and capable of driving business results without significant supervision
Comfortable working in a fast paced, cross functional team environment
