TITLE: Lead Quality Assurance Engineer (The Prudential Insurance Company of America)

LOCATION: Sunnyvale, CA

DUTIES: Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. Responsible for testing of Platform group of services using the industry standard automation tools such as Cucumber with Java using BDD approach and UI tools using Protractor, TypeScript, and Cucumber. Automation Framework designing and development, and scripts development with a full range of automated tests for Web, Database, and API. Participate in automation projects and responsible for key project deliverables. Responsible for delivering the MVPs from QE team standpoint. Test execution, debugging, and scheduling of scripts on Web and Restful API services. Create test plans, effort estimations, and comprehensive functional test cases and execute Regression, System, Integration tests entirely for various projects. Implement Agile and DevOps practices and incorporate automation in Continuous Integration using Jenkins. Collaborate and negotiate timelines, resourcing, scope of work, testing milestones. Define the Test strategy with the stack holders. Proactively manage testing for highly visible and challenging applications under tight schedules by adapting well-defined process for testing during various testing phases.

REQTS: Must have Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered, as a Manager, Testing, or a related position. Must have five (5) years of progressively responsible experience with all of the following: Selenium Web driver; Node JS/Mocha; Sauce Labs; Postman; Cucumber; Jenkins; KAFKA; Splunk; Jira; Java; JUnit; Active MQ; Distributed Architecture; Microservices Architecture; Enterprise Integration; Testing Methodology; Agile development; TestNG; BDD/TDD.

HOURS: Full time; Mon- Fri (37.5 hrs/week)
