Our Role:

PGIM Agricultural Investments (PAI) is a business within PGIM Real Estate, a wholly owned subsidiary of Prudential Financial, Inc. With a 100-year history in the agricultural space, Prudentials agriculture business provides management of real estate investments (equity) and lending in the agricultural sector throughout the United States and currently manages $5.5 billion of agricultural mortgages and over $1.5 billion of real estate investments. We have a dedicated team that serves the national markets for food, beverages and agribusiness. Our client portfolio includes businesses in the areas of protein, fresh fruit and vegetables, and sugar; wineries; dairies; and nurseries. We have a wide variety of loan products that allow for customized financing to meet each clients unique financing goals, including real estate financing and expansion projects.

PGIM Real Estates Agribusiness lending unit has an opening for an Agriculture Investment Analyst in our Orlando, FL office. The Agriculture Investment Analyst works with the national Agribusiness lending arm of PGIM Real Estate but will also aid both the Eastern Region and Timberland debt teams, as well as conducting various industry research and analysis projects. The Analyst will report directly to the Senior Agribusiness Associate in the Orlando, FL office and may work with other investment staff throughout the company and country.

The individual we are seeking must be highly motivated and attentive to detail with a blend of several abilities including excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills as well as an ability to prioritize and balance multiple deals and tasks at once. In addition to the analytical skill set, the individual must have good interpersonal skills with an interest in networking and business development with both PGIM personnel as well as our borrower/client base. The candidate must have a strong desire to learn, and the ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment. Some travel may be required.

Your Required Skills:

* B.S. in business, agricultural finance, economics, or equivalent curriculum is required; Masters Degree is preferred
* Experience in production agriculture or other agricultural business is preferred
* Prior experience in real estate investments is preferred
* 1-2 years of relevant work experience is preferred
* Strong research, data gathering, and organization skills required
* Proficiency with MS Office applications; particularly excel is required
