A day in the life

The Senior Business Process Architecture Specialist is an effective leader, problem solver, committed to using Business Process Methodologies (BPM) to improve the productivity and engagement of the organization through better processes, tools and thinking.

The ideal candidate is curious, self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented. This individual has some retail business knowledge and business analysis skills.

The ideal candidate will

* Design, document and iterate on lower level processes to deliver strategies/roadmaps for a particular capability and improve efficiency

* Work with key stakeholders to review strategies/roadmap within the context of the E2E High Level Process and capture impacts or ensuring solutions meet current and future business objectives

* Be customer focused and use process to understand and illustrate the problem to solve

* Map business capabilities and key processes, assess areas for improvement, and eliminate tasks that do not add value (remove waste)

* Builds trust by acting as a liason between business leadership stakeholders, product managers and technology

* Design, maintain & document process map(s) to show outcomes

* Use process to show risks or possible painpoints; areas that will need a solution

* Help facilitate and capture the process design used to develop the business solutions that combine knowledge of business processes and issues, general technological options and process improvement techniques

* Help develop and maintain software that supports the business process

* Demonstrates decision quality when evaluating technology updates within the context of business process (where it fits)

* Communicate and collaborate with Technology groups as a process expert to help capture requirements for technology solutions that enhance merchant experience and support the business process

* Partner closely with Product Management to evaluate impacts within the capability roadmap to assess timing and sequencing

You own this if you have...

* A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, industrial engineering or related field

* 2+years of experience with demonstrated, comprehensive knowledge of retail business landscape, business analysis, Business Process Management Notation (BPMN), Lean methodologies and tools for process improvement (notation and measurement)

* Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive change in a complex environment

* Excellent interpersonal skills ability to build relationships and influence without authority

* Excellent communication skills verbal, written, presentation and listening

* Strong organization and project management skills including creating and managing a project plan and timeline both within a team and across project partners.

* Executed and driven projects to completion in a timely manner and worked collaboratively with cross-functional partners across the enterprise

* The ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organization levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are required

* Led/Co-led process design sessions and projects as a part of larger initiatives with minimal supervision and guidance

Additional Preferred Qualifications

* Lean Certification from an accredited organization.

* Have participated in/or led transformational organization change
