Job Description

We are looking for a Foreign Exchange Operations Accounting Analyst to join our team.

Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to:

* Provide accounting and complex operational support and analysis for the Foreign Exchange Operational functions related to Foreign Exchange Spot/Forward, NDF, Options, FX Loans, Collections and Letters of Credit transactions.
* Complete reconciliations, investigations, customer and bank limits, customer onboarding documentation and account maintenance.
* Ensure the accurate reconcilement of all Due From and Nostro accounts.
* Research and clears outstanding overdraft interest and wire charges.
* Completes related journal entries and investigations.
* Conducts FX transaction wire investigation and settlement of compensation claims as well as and maintains case files as required.
* Negotiates and analyzes compensation to be charged or made to counterparty banks.
* Reviews and monitors Foreign Exchange credit presentation for completeness and adhearance to the FX Credit Policy.
* Coordinates with relationship managers and sales advisors to obtain renewal prior to expiration.
* Works with FX sales advisors to ensure that delivery instructions for all exotic currency wires are accurate, meet specific country requirements for proper delivery, investigations and reconcilement.
* Ensures accurate processing and issuance of Foreign Currency Drafts.
* Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelors in accounting, finance or a related field and 4+ years of accounting, reconcilations, banking and/or foreign exhange operations or other directly related experience. A combination of experience and education may meet job requirements.

* Basic knowledge of general accounting principles, reconcilations, journal entries, banking, Foreign Exchange operations and processing policies and procedures.
* Knowledge of related compliance regulations.
* Knowledge and understanding of SWIFT and FEDWire formatting.
* Ability to prepare reports as needed. Must be accurate and able to meet deadlines.
* Good balancing, research, problem solving and reconciliation skills.
* Good computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.
