When youre working in the fast-moving world of technology, product availability is critical which makes the availability of raw materials for production critical too. Our Material Planning team provides a controlled flow of materials to meet production requirements. We produce detailed schedules, adapting them if necessary, to meet backlogs or material shortages, as well as material requirement lists and production plans that balance the demand and supply position of platforms and commodities to optimize product availability and cost. Were experts at resolving problems with inventory, production schedules or material shortages and recommending procedures to avoid future problems.

What youll achieve

As an Advisor, Supply Chain you will be responsible for the performance of supply chain operational functions. You will also be responsible for supply planning, receipt discrepancy, and PO management of material in Dells Displays supply chain. You will execute the functions related to parts planning, supply management, and delivery of Displays. You will have a strong focus on supply management while at the same time constantly seeking to improve Customer Experience.

You will:

* Maintain continuity of Supply on assigned products to ensure standard lead time

* Strategize on replenishment for large deals on big named account ensuring customer commitment

* Coordinate with inbound logistic to pre plan yearly events such as quarterly cut offs,urgent orders,backlog etc

* Work with planning team on supply allocations

* Plan on low cost logistics transportation mode to transport supply from factory

* Responsible for correcting supply imbalances with supply chain as quickly as possible

Essential Requirements

* Masters degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience

* 3+ years of supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience

* Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges

* Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* Strong sense of time organization and urgency

* Able to work independently and within a team

* Troubleshooting and problem solving appetite

* Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

Desirable Requirements

* Analytics Degree a plus

* Experience working with remote & global teams
