What youll achieve

As a System Reliability Engineer, you will support reliability for Client products. You will work with both Dell and Supplier engineering teams to ensure products meet Dell reliability requirements. You will work numerous internal Dell teams such a Quality, Procurement, Regulatory, etc. to ensure successful outcomes.

You will:

* Engage with Dell Design Engineers at early stages of product development to identify reliability risk areas
* Engage with ODM Engineers to ensure approved parts are being selected for designs
* Specify targeted testing on prototypes to ensure compliance to Dell requirements
* Perform and/or review electrical and thermal stress analysis to validate designs comply with derating requirements
* Analyse field and test data to assess reliability performance to specified requirements

Essential Requirements

* BSEE
* Course work in probability and statistics
* Hands on test lab experience
* Product engineering evaluation work experience

Desirable Requirements

* Masters degree in Electrical engineering
* Formal training in reliability engineering
