Director, TAM | Healthcare
As the Director, TAM and part of our Professional Services Organization (PSO), you will build, manage, and maintain all TAM (Technical Account Manager) activity for our top accounts in our US Healthcare Segment. Your team will be responsible for accelerating customer outcomes and success with VMware solutions, resulting in enhanced customer satisfaction and deeper strategic relationships.
You will proactively innovate to accelerate the growth and impact of your team while ensuring key business and operational goals are met. Finally, you will lead by example, demonstrating our EPIC2 values and supporting the personal growth and continuous development of your team.
Responsibilities
* Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of TAMs
* Responsible for managing healthcare TAM business in the western region (United States)
* Accountable for business metrics including TAM bookings, revenue, margin, renewals, and utilization
* Ensure high customer CSAT and NPS are maintained
* Represent and promote TAM services both internally and externally across Healthcare Teams and customers
* Help to design and document best practices in overall TAM function through VMware
* Partner closely with sales and other VMware field teams to sell and deliver customer outcomes
* Maintain a basic understanding of all VMware product lines and solutions
Required Skills & Experience
* 10+ years of technical team management and leadership
* Ideal candidate must have experience within the healthcare segment
* Location: Candidates must live within the western or central region of the United States
* Experience running a P&L; and operational precision
* Passion for innovation and business growth
* Genuine interest in the success of others
* Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Experience selling software and/or services
* Understanding of modern datacenter and hosting operations
* Experience with modern software development methodologies
* Experience negotiating and subcontracting professional services
* BS/BA/MA/MS/MBA
