Job Description
Job Accountabilities
Operate power driven forklift to load, unload, store and deliver coils, in-process supplies, materials and finished products (including up to 30,000 lb. capacity machinery as required. Service production/shipping areas with materials and supplies as needed. Unload materials from trucks and load materials into trucks for shipment to the customer. Store materials by type and size in assigned storage area. Store coils/supplies for storage in manner prescribed by safety rules. Empty gondolas as needed of rubbish and scrap. Maintain inventory and housekeeping. Transport drums of waste oils and chemicals to storage area and label properly.
Job Requirements
Must have an excellent safety record and experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to occasionally lift 50lbs, climb on and off a forklift continuously during a 12 hour shift.
Must pass physical, drug screen and background check
