Job Description
The associate is responsible for running the stuffer and sizing machine with the use of casings.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Safety is the 1 responsibility.
* Placing casings on horns.
* Control weight, length and diameter of product.
* Hanging or stacking stuffed product.
* Dump and scrape out tubs of product
* Equipment set-up and tear-down.
* Control product quality.
* Maintain efficiencies.
* Abide by all plant GMPs and USDA guidelines.
* Responsible for any other task / duty asked to undertake by supervisor.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Understand complete operation of stuffers and sizing equipment.
* Must be able to direct on the line.
* Must consistently carry a positive attitude and help solve problems.
* Have good communication skills with management and co-workers, departmentally and inter-departmentally.
* Know proper emergency procedures.
* Understand company policies and lead by example.
