Provide supervision of nursing and hospital personnel and patient care activities on a particular shift with an emphasis on maintaining standards of care and patient safety.

Must be a graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing.

BSN or willing to attain within five (5) years.

Three (3) years experience in acute care nursing required, management experience required. Managerial skills, clinical expertise, teach/instruct, clerical accuracy, communication skills, listening abilities, independent thinking/sound judgment; ability to deal with stress, able to react to emergency and crisis situations, committed to quality of care.

Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.

Current BLS certification must be completed prior to end of orientation period
