Job Description

The Global Commercial Operations Manager for Global Packaging is responsible leading and implementing commercial excellence processes and supporting systems to drive customer value enhancement and profit margin expansion!

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and drive execution of continuous improvement in pricing practices, selling processes, sales pipeline management, sales skill development, and customer communications.
* Accountable for implementation of Selling Machine projects and initiatives and ensure execution is successful and sustainable.
* Ensure contract harmonization and optimization (deal structures, terms and conditions).
* Advance the selling strategy through effective customer segmentation and sales coverage model optimization.
* Create sustainable pricing excellence by defining pricing-related roles and responsibilities, upgrading pricing strategy, setting and executing processes.
* Upgrade commercial performance management by introducing a new KPI and tracking system. Provide broad-based training on tools, processes, and execution and performance management.
* This position will collaborate closely with Global Marketing Communications and segment leaders to ensure marketing communications activities align on our customer communications.
* Collaborate closely with the commercial operationsrelated resources within the regions.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in chemistry, engineering, business, economics or marketing is required. MBA preferred.
* Strong project leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to operate and influence in a matrix environment.
* Experience with CRM systems and ability to translate commercial processes into system requirements and drive adoption.
* Formal training and direct experience applying continuous improvement and lean/six sigma improvements.
* Commercial experience through positions within sales, account management, and/or sales operations.
* Experience and exposure to a global business environment and the ability to implement initiatives across global regions is essential.
