This team manages the end-to-end lifecycle of Advertiser Account Management including Registration, Identity, granular access control and security. We are working on the next-generation Advertiser Registration and Account Management akin to AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) service. The systems are pushing boundaries in terms of scale of storage, data processing and real-time propagation.

We build Tier-1 services to handle millions of requests per day, while maintaining response latencies in the milliseconds and meeting strict SLA requirements (high operational standards). Our team will develop distributed solutions with service oriented architecture to build high performance platforms (with both backend as well as frontend ownership) to service world's largest selection to millions of customers. Within this space, our team is looking for a talented, creative and passionate Software Development Manager to help us build, launch and grow the software at the core of the Multi-account experience. Our projects involve full-stack development - web UI, web services, data systems, and reporting that operate at massive scale and high reliability. You will get to have a direct impact on how customers create, browse, discover, and manage their multiple advertising accounts and user permissions and align them closest to their business structure globally.

In this role you will:
Build and manage a team of Software Engineers.

Own all operational metrics and support for your teams software.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent technical education and work experience.7+ years of experience leading a team of software engineers.
7+ years of hands-on software development engineering experience.
Technical expertise in distributed software design and development.
3+ years of managing a team of software engineers (direct reports).
Experience with Java, Scala, C, Python, JavaScript

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
5+ years of software development experience as a manager.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
A deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, and a track record of shipping software on time
Experience with scrum or Kanban methodology for agile software development.
Experience designing software architecture for scalability, reliability and performance.
A passion for people management and mentoring.
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full SDLC including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
AWS Certifications.
Experience in partnering with product and program management teams.
Solid software development background including design patterns, data structures, test driven development.
