SUMMARY
As the management consultancy of SAP, we are realizing business value via strategic projects and guide customers on their digitalization journey. A major factor for doing so is to identify and fulfill our customers' requirements, drive and guide best digital transformation both from IT- and business perspective. We are looking for a Management Consultant with a strong Retail or Wholesale background and a high motivation to serve in that industry or sub segment like fashion, sports, apparel, drug or grocery. The objective is to support strategic customers and large transformation initiatives by:

* Translating business goals into comprehensive IT strategies and tangible transformation plans
* Jointly defining roadmaps and industry specific architectures for the future IT landscape based on the latest SAP product and innovation portfolio
* Building and calculating convincing business- and value cases
* Identifying and enabling cost reductions and process efficiency improvements as well as innovation potential
* Designing and implementing SAP software using proven methodologies and tools
* Working closely together with SAP product development to provide input for future SAP products
* Developing our customers demand by identifying optimization potential and translating it into services- and/or software offerings

YOUR ROLE

* Act as trusted advisor, consulting our customers to align transformational initiatives with SAPs road map and solution portfolio
* Guide our customers towards a SAP centric, Intelligent Enterprise Architecture considering cloud- as well as on-premise layers
* Show and calculate the value of SAP initiatives and solution scenarios
* Initiate and steer customer workshops to design innovative solutions in accordance with SAP methodologies and tools
* Optimize, implement and customize industry specific processes and applications
* Work in business transformation projects for leading retail / wholesale or fashion industry companies as stream-lead or as integral part of lager teams, including consultants from different areas of expertise, regions and cultures
* Initiate and drive SAP co-innovation initiatives
* Manage and support large bids and orchestrate holistic solutions that align business processes and IT architecture

YOUR PROFILE

* Minimum 3, ideally 5+ years of experience in Consulting, Account Management or Business Development within Retail or wholesale industries in consulting organizations
* Understanding of IT industry trends and a good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
* Familiarity with the SAP solution portfolio for retail / wholesale or fashion industries
* Industry process- and business knowledge in at least one E2E process area
* Solid Business Case calculation experience and related KPI knowledge
* Exceptional presentation and communication skills
* German language skills at Certificate Level C and Excellent English Language skills
