Department Overview

The Enterprise and Channel Marketing team creates and oversees execution of marketing plans and programs to support the growth of our enterprise and channel business (commercial space). The team oversees all aspects of the regional marketing mix including vertical, demand generation, product launches, sales enablement, channel programs, and field marketing initiatives.

Position Scope

This role will be responsible for developing and coordinating the marketing strategies for brand awareness, demand generation, and sales and partner enablement to grow the AVTEC business Avtec provides voice over internet protocol (VoIP) dispatch services over land mobile radio (LMR) and broadband networks. Its services enable customers, including airlines, railroads and energy companies, to connect operations center personnel using Avtec dispatch solutions with workers in the field using two-way radios.

This person will partner with global marketing, integrated marketing, event teams, international sales and marketing teams among others.

This position will report to the Head of Global Enterprise and Channel marketing organization.

Position Responsibilities

* Manage marketing departments relationship with top regional channel sales executives, other marketing functions, as well as channel partners

* Identify regional sales, product, solution, channel, and marketing needs and prioritize to create a marketing plan and process

* Develop solution vertical-specific content to help drive/position our Avtec solutions with the targeted buying personas and buying influences

* Collaborate with the Avtec integrated marketing manager for the execution of demand generation campaigns and promotions in alignment with Avtec business priorities

* Plan and execute nationwide partner-based marketing activities for both Avtec only partners, as well as in coordination with regional MSI field marketers and Global MSI partners

* Create custom content to support business opportunities, support selling strategies and prospecting efforts with targeted demand generation programs (upselling, cross-selling, and new sales initiatives) drive specific across-region programs to help leverage best practices, and support critical regional marketing programs expanding nationally

* Educate partners on existing Avtec programs (both Avtec only, and MSI partners)

* Help Avtec partners align with ecosystem marketing resources

* Support any Avtec product launches

* Evaluate, design, and promote key programs to elevate Avtec partner marketing performance including such programs as marketing accelerators, virtual marketing management, channel partner enablement.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

* In-person presentation skills to large groups as well executive audiences.

* Managing the development of print marketing materials, videos, web assets. Copy-editing

* Technology savvy

* Marketing ROI tracking

* Planning and executing of regional centralized campaigns

* Capability to develop and leverage centralized programs, tools, and assets to help partners, and direct/indirect sales teams reach their overall revenue, and profitability targets

* Channel marketing/management experience within high tech industry

* Knowledge of channel structure, channel marketing process, channel incentives, programs, tools

* Experience working with regional and global sales and marketing teams

* Vertical marketing experience, understanding of sales cycle, and how to apply to overall marketing needs

Additional Knowledge/Skills:

* Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or related fields

* 5+ years of experience in channel marketing, solution marketing, and/or related field

* Demonstrated experience working in marketing to, with, and for a partner sales organization

* Strong experience on-demand generation activities leveraging channel partner communities or directly with end-customers

* Aggressive self-starter, able to rally support from required cross-functional team members

* Program Management - Ability to work on multiple projects with various deadlines at once

* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with various organizational levels

* Ability to work in a highly matrix organization

* Experience managing external agencies

Basic Requirements

* Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or related fields

* 5+ years of experience in channel marketing, solution marketing, and/or related field
