Location: Dallas, TX and highly qualified virtual candidate will be considered
The selected candidate leads the planning, management and execution of highly complex employee communications and public relations (PR) programs. This role will be responsible for developing effective employee messaging and communications strategies for External & Legislative Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic planning, content development, video and digital asset creation, internal social media and employee communications
* Recommendations and decisions on communications strategy for how we share our positions important public policy and CSR initiatives with employees, requiring high-level understanding and ongoing knowledge of issues and trends affecting the company
* Executive level counsel and support
* Writing and overseeing publication of several or most of the following: intranet articles, internal statements, leadership communications, employee stories, employee-focused social media content, and/or materials for employee events
* Thorough knowledge of company products, company functions and policies and procedures
* Lead special projects and serve as the subject matter expert on employee-facing initiatives
Desired Qualifications:
* 5-8 years of corporate communications experience with proven ability to maintain a high-level understanding of industry trends, as well as the companys priorities, issues, and news to ensure effective contributions to communications planning and execution
* Experience supporting executives across Human Resources and Corporate Programs in development of their communications, both internally and externally
* Current knowledge of emerging employee communications strategies, tactics and platforms
* Strong individual contributor with experience working with cross-functional teams of peers and managers at all levels across business units to assist in coordinating communications programs
* Exceptional written, verbal, and digital communication skills
* Bachelors Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
