What you will be able to do
We are seeking a diligent, detail-driven professional to provide vital expertise in support of our manufacturing process engineering activities. We are looking to optimize our efforts in safety, quality and productivity. This involves applying engineering principles and analytical techniques to advance continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and products. You will:

* Design and develop automation scripts to support out software validation effort
* Debug and triage automation issues
* Develop and maintain our in house automation frameworks and infrastructure
* Create APIs to support our overall automation strategy
* Contribute to Fords effort to modernize our approach to validation and data analysis

The minimum requirements we seek

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering
* 1+ year of experience programming with Python and/or Java (coursework/internship/co-op experience allowed)

Our preferred requirements

* Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering
* 2+ years of experience programming in Python and/or Java
* 6+ months experience using Selenium or Appium
* 6+ months experience using Unreal graphics engine
* 6+ months experience using Docker
