What youll be able to do:
* Work closely with Product Owners to establish and/or contribute to product roadmaps and product delivery plan
* Work closely with Software Engineers and Architects for technical design and scope
* Working Understanding of systems architecture concepts and ability to analyze business systems architecture
* Clearly communicate product strategy and vision to stakeholders
* Lead coordination and execution within cross-functional product teams
* Innovate and operate with an agile and consumer-centric perspective
* Provide thought leadership development, structure, technology, and tools
* Understand business and user priorities, and technical feasibility in order to prioritize the product group backlogs and manage risks
* Employ and/or champion Lean and Agile software processes, culture, best practices, and techniques
* Help Business Partners understand Fords iterative development approach and focus on delivering a Minimum Viable Product through careful and deliberate prioritization
* Initiate and translate the product roadmap into manageable product features in the backlog through regular scoping sessions
* Work hands-on with product teams to prioritize, plan, and deliver the product
* Ensure the product backlog is properly refined to ensure the team is never starved for work
* Verify products meet desired business outcomes by implementing the collection of analytics and key performance indicators
* Redefine backlog content to optimize business outcomes based on software product feedback
* Gather user and stakeholder feedback to drive improvements and manage the product groups roadmap
* Actively employ user research using lean validation techniques
* Actively manage features and dependencies in and across product teams
* Actively work to remove impediments and blockers to product delivery
* Identify risks, and implements mitigation and contingency plans, focused on early mitigation or elimination of risks.
The minimum requirements we seek:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering
* 3+ years of relevant experience in software product management or product design
Our preferred requirements:
* Ability to communicate effectively with the working level technical team as well as with other individuals at all levels of the organization
* Demonstrated ability to drive development of highly technical consumer focused mobile applications and/or technical platforms
* Experience with Lean methodology & eXtreme Programming
* Demonstrated understanding and ability to drive API economy and solutions
* Demonstrated understanding and ability to drive highly available consumer ready Internet properties and technical platforms
* Experience defining product vision, strategy, product roadmaps and creating and managing backlogs
* Experience articulating and validating product hypotheses
* Experience collaborating with engineers, designers and product owners as part of a dedicated team
* Understanding of systems architecture concepts and ability to analyze business systems architecture
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience
* Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision making in a rapidly changing environment
* Architecture knowledge across all aspects of architecture (Business, solution, information, application and infrastructure)
* Must be able to think and act strategically, without constraints, but be able to operationalize
* Strong demonstrated competencies across Connected Vehicle, Autonomous Vehicles and/or Mobility businesses
* Proven ability to produce deliverables as well as distribute and manage work for other team members
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
