Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital (BMRH) is a state-of-the-art, 49-bed Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Hospital that is dedicated to restoring lives. We are a result of the joint venture/partnership between Baptist Memorial Hospital and Kindred Healthcare to meet the growing rehabilitation needs of the region.
BMRH specializes in treating patients with many diagnoses, including, but not limited to, stroke, brain injury, amputation, neurological and cardiac disorders. In 2018, BMRH has received CARF accreditation in both brain injury and stroke
Job Summary:
Provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LPN. Maintain regulatory requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care and comfort. Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patients clinical condition. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Reports to the Chief Clinical Officer
Qualifications
Education/Experience
High school graduate or equivalent. High school students will be considered under a student work program. Previous experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred. Current BLS required. Excellent communication skills necessary.
