The Business Analyst position is aligned with our internal business teams to support user requirements gathering, processes flows and user story construction for key business initiatives. The position will be working in a collaborative team environment, with independent duties. The Business Analyst role will be working on the implementation of our new Warranty Information and Servicer Hub that will support the processes and workflow for our business. The position will be working with key functional areas, but will primarily be focused with our Finance team. Responsibilities include, but not limited to data analysis and reconciliation, documenting processes, leading business event storming sessions for gathering requirements, creating user stories, participating in grooming sessions, sprint planning and UAT testing.

Duties and Responsibilities
Work with business stakeholders and IT to analyze, define and document business requirements
Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders to gather user requirements and establish MVP for project deliverables
Provide data analysis and reconciliation on data sets/production data to support finance and other business functional areas as needed
Participation in grooming and sprint planning session
Coordinate sign-off of requirements from business stakeholders
Document and providing process flows for transactional data flows and key business processes
Participate in project development and implementation to ensure business requirements are delivered
Develop plans and participate in user acceptance testing to ensure fulfillment of requirements

Provide post-launch support to business team to document functionality gaps, data irregularities/anomalies to drive solutions

Performs other duties as assigned or requested

What We Are Looking For
Bachelors Degree with business, technology, or operational focus or a related field preferred
4+ years as a business analyst role or related role, with experience analyzing and solving business problems from requirements gathering to successful solution implementation
Analytical, decision making and problem solving abilities
Expert with Excel and analysis on large datasets
Experience supporting financial processes a plus

Ability to manage multiple deliverables
Experience in Agile methodologies
Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Strong communication skills, including facilitation/event storming experience
High sense of ownership and responsibility to all stakeholders to ensure work quality
Experience with reporting tools and/or SQL a plus
Experience writing business requirements in user story format
