Summary
* Responsible for driving analytics from a business and clinical perspective for BDI Surgery
* Ad hoc analytic projects
* Establish relationships with sales leaders and software engineers to identify, capture and report business critical data
* Responsible for answering inquiries about the state of the business, generating insights, building and maintaining reports for all levels of the organization
* Work closely with business and technical partners to help define and build a reporting environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Ability to make effective decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from various sources and compiling into a digestible meaningful format
* Partnering with various stakeholders including sales leaders to build analytical solutions to deliver business goals
* Propose and implement business metrics working with data engineers to craft and develop the data infrastructure to support business growth and learn about clinical/sales opportunities for improvement
* Perform deep-dives in large data sets to find opportunities, variances, or key indicators in the business
* Establishing a standardized reporting framework to build openness and validity to all key partners
* Working with internal and external data sharing teams to provide meaningful data on data sharing agreement purchases and other ad hoc projects as assigned
* Lead technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads
* Build and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities and efficiency and business impact
* Ability to learn new software if needed
Education and/or Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Math/Statistics/Engineering or other equivalent quantitative field required, MS degree preferred
* 3 - 5 years of demonstrated ability in data analytics. Modeling / sophisticated business analytics preferred
* Experience in SFDC (salesforce.com) and experience working with advanced data sets
* Experience with Qlikview / Power BI
* Advanced Excel skills
* Hands on experience with marketing automation systems
* Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
