Job Description:
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and other management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers and customers.
Essential Functions:
* Project Finance (budgeting, forecasting, and analysis)
* Experience working MS Office Product Suite (including MS Project)
* Communication (works across multiple levels within the company and direct customer interface)
* Planning and change management
* Reporting
Qualifications:
* Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
* DoD SECRET or higher clearance (preferred) OR
* Eligibility to obtain and maintain DoD SECRET or higher clearance
* This position will require 20 to 30% travel and the ability to obtain a SECRET level security clearance.
