About the team

As an intern with the Release Readiness team you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to implement process improvements that help to ensure the successful release of new features to customers. Our mission is to ensure SAP Ariba and its customers/partners are able to support and adopt new capabilities and innovations, helping to secure customers for life.

This internship will focus on gathering specific customer feedback on content that is shared with customers during the course of a release. The goal is to gather actionable feedback direct from customers to drive our improvement efforts. This will provide value to SAP and its customers by ensuring that our customers have the best resources available to address change management and adoption activities related to product releases.

Position title: SAP Ariba iXp Intern Release Readiness Project Manager

Location: Palo Alto, CA (Virtual)

Expected start date: June 2021- August 2021

In this role, youll:

At a high level this may include the following activities:

* Design of feedback questions/survey
* Assessment of feedback mechanisms available
* Implementation of feedback mechanism
* Managing the feedback gathering process (based on customer interactions with our content)
* Compile the data, summarize, and make recommendations for change based on the data

The successful candidate will work with, and take direction from, a number of senior program managers on the team. They will provide guidance based on their experience in this area and time spent working with customers.

To succeed in this role, you must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed in an environment that includes teams working remotely around the globe. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment are essential.

* Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, Education, Product Marketing, or related field (may be in progress).
* Customer management skills.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Consistent ability to act independently on project work.
* Demonstrated skill in analyzing and interpreting data.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in knowledge management, content development, product marketing, software development or product management from a leading technology company.
* A record of effectively leading complex projects/programs with geographically dispersed teams.
* Experience with product launches and/or release management and/or change management.
* Formal project management training.
