Job Description

We are looking for team members with a track record in EO Systems design and Test to work with our team of experienced professionals within Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) systems department. You will be working with a skilled team on the development of next generation EO and IR systems for airborne, ground and space.

An effective candidate will be experienced working in a fast paced team oriented environment and engage in the detailed design, analysis, trade studies, simulation and test of EO/IR subsystems design and test. The candidate must be experienced testing and verification of EO/IR products along with working within both a developmental and production environment. Design and test experience in visible, SWIR, MWIR and LWIR products and subsystems is desired.

The person should be self-motivated and be prepared to work with an attentive team with an innovative mindset. The candidate must have a work ethic to learn and push the boundaries of technology.

Required Skills:

* Must have at least 8 years of related technical experience in EO/IR subsystems and support equipment
* Hands on experience in the design, analysis, development, breadboarding, troubleshooting and testing of EO/IR Subsystems
* Trade studies defining EO/IR test architecture, IV&V
* Bidding and proposal development for EO/IR subsystems
* Requirements development and validation
* Self-Motivated to Learn; Go Getter Personality
* Clearance required within 1st year AND role requires access to US only data
* U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position will access US only information and need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Desired Skills:

* Experience working with Matlab for EO/IR analysis
* Optical and radiometric testing

Required Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related technical discipline.

Desired Education:
Masters degree or PhD in Physics, EE, Optical Engineering or related technical discipline.
