Baxters US Hospital Products Customer Experience and Brand Marketing Team is building out a new in-house creative agency to support the business valued at $3.0B annually.
We are seeking an experienced copywriter to support the marketing department in developing and presenting materials to further our brand recognition through the copy process.The primary role responsibility is developing copy, messaging and conducting editorial reviews for both marketing and communications purposes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Write copy for a variety of media including print, video, presentations, and digital; long and short form writing required
* Edits and proof work to ensure quality and editorial integrity
* Collaborates with brand marketing director and Business Units to tell the brand story of every level
* Collaborates with other creatives and marketing team members to develop work that elevates communication and meets business objectives
* Is able to develop content for many formats, i.e. promotional copy, social media, rep talking points, etc.
* Helps manage issues and crisis with rapid response communications as needed
* Drives brand consistency thru writing
* Manages brand copy guidelines
* Team player attitude willing to help the team with any task as it relates to the greater good of the company; incorporating foresight and committed to finding the best solutions to fit the need and request
* Incorporate own thoughts and ideas into making product marketing materials and support of higher value, while empowered to take initiative, executing with high proficiency and attention to detail
Qualifications:
* Strong creative and thinking skills that allow the connection between strategy and execution. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
* Solid organization of multiple projects at once
* Able to pivot as needed given often time-sensitive needs of the business
* Accountable for on-time deliverables
* Ability to demonstrate the brand voice
* Attention to detail
* Combination of both creative, communication and technical writing skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
* Able to work both independently and with a creative team
* High quality portfolio of work
* BS/BA required with 3+ years of experience in marketing or public relations.
