Job Description
CDM Smith has an opening for an Intermediate Training Analyst to support our growing global learning and development needs. This position will report directly to the Lead Learning Systems Specialist who is based in our CDM Smith Global Headquarters of Boston, MA USA. As a core member of the CDM Smith University Learning Systems Team, the Training Analyst will be running reports, suggesting reporting enhancements, and supporting the testing and troubleshooting of our learning systems.

The successful candidate will:

Perform comprehensive and moderately complex analysis of learning data points and metrics from diverse employee skill building and continuous learning activities to support the firm's learning strategy subsequent initiatives, leadership updates and marketing of learning programs.
Build and generate reports using various data points from the firms learning systems to support the learning teams needs. Conduct data integrity audits of data generated from multiple internal systems as well as external sources to ensure accuracy and overall quality. Leads requirement gathering with stakeholders. Supports scheduled and ad hoc reports in support of Human Resources Business Partners and other HR functions.
Conducts system testing and troubleshooting for implementation of software patches, break-fixes and system improvements and upgrades. Provides recommendations to the implementation team to improve success.
Participate with other learning teams on projects to continuously improve processes and procedures. Recommends improvements to processes and procedures as necessary.
Partner with other learning team members to respond to concerns and questions from end users.
Performs other duties as required.


Minimum Qualifications


Skills and Abilities
Ability to be a critical thinker, detail oriented and execution focused.
Good problem-solving skills and well as strong organizational and follow up skills.
Good time and project management skills.
Excellent technology skills including proficiency in the use of MS-Office with an advanced knowledge of Excel to create pivot tables and perform advanced level calculations; solid understanding of database structures.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.


Bachelors Degree
3 years of related experience.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.


Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with a learning experience platform (LxP)
Experience working with a learning management system (LMS)
Experience working with a business analytics/data visualization tool
