Visual Communications Specialist, Junior

Key Role:
Produce graphic designs, using a variety of techniques and software, for both print and electronic communications, including promotions, advertisements, and instructional materials for distributed through a variety of media outlets. Apply specific functional knowledge and working and general industry knowledge. Work as a member of a health IT group supporting all aspects of graphics design, development, and branding needs, including proposal graphics, marketing graphics, advanced desktop publishing, print media, branding, digital presentations, and mock web sites. Collaborate with a variety of proposal team members, capture professionals, and senior leadership to develop graphics supporting marketing, capture, and proposal efforts, including work for billable customers. Apply strict attention to detail and a balance of expertise in technical and creative work.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with graphics and visual communications design

-Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and OneDrive

-Experience as a Digital Sketch Artist

-Ability to provide an online portfolio or samples at the time of interview

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with multimedia and Web design

-Knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript

-Knowledge of information architecture and usability

-Possession of excellent presentation, interpersonal, customer support, and collaboration skills

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Graphics Arts, Web Design, Fine Arts, or Communications Arts
