1st Shift
Monday-Friday
6am-2:30pm (must be flexible)
Objective:
Produces and distributes glaze and paste as needed in the production process.
Major Functions & Scope:
* Produces glaze and paste by transporting, weighing, and mixing appropriate ingredients.
* Loads and unloads ball mills.
* Monitors glaze and paste levels on production lines.
* Creates samples and performs quality control checks.
* Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
* Follows standard operating procedures.
* Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
* Performs other related duties as required.
Education & Knowledge
High school diploma or GED Required.
Experience:
0 -1 year previous manufacturing/production experience.
Competencies:
Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Good math skills. Ability to understand and speak basic English. Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
