The Anesthesia Technician provides patient care and support for anesthesia services needed in the surgical/anesthesia area to include assisting with line placements, inventory management, and regional anesthesia. Assembles supplies and equipment as needed and facilitates efficient room turnover between procedures. Follows policies and procedures of West Florida Hospital. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to WFH standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Education:

Vocational or technical education preferred.

Skills/Abilities:

Organizational, multi-tasking, and communication in a detail oriented, customer-focused organization are required. Ability to follow verbal instructions, read and comprehend written instructions is required. Ability to transport non-controlled products/substances is required.
