Summary:
Manage accounting, financial reporting and analysis for the product line. Support the Segment Controller, Product Line VP, Operational Leadership, and finance personnel by providing, interpreting and evaluating financial information. Assist in development of short- and long-term business plans for the product line. Identify opportunities for improvement of EBITDA and Free Cashflow. Directly supervise accounting staff. Handle special projects, as assigned.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
This management position directs the establishment of accounting and finance principles, practices, procedures and controls
Maintains accounting records and is responsible for the forecasting, analysis and interpretation of financial and operational results
Delivers accurate and timely reporting of the product line P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Statements
Manages cashflow including monitoring of CAPEX budget, AR Collections, AP Payments and Inventory Receipts
Facilitates all internal and external audits as well as special audits by banks, tax or insurance providers
Supports all operational activities of the product line as the primary finance partner
Skills/Knowledge
Extensive knowledge of accounting and Financial Reporting principles
Working knowledge of SOX, SEC and tax regulations
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Advanced understanding of Business systems and practices with focus on streamlining processes
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial project management
Strong analytical skills and advanced user of MS Office including MS Excel
Ability to present financial information and interact with all levels of management
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting or equivalent. Master’s a plus.
CPA highly desired.
Industry experience preferred.
