The Accounting Assistant will prepare daily deposits and print and mail outgoing checks for all companies. They will be responsible for coding and balancing all daily cash transactions for assigned companies, with minimal supervision and perform special projects as requested.
This position will be in Omaha Nebra, and required in office everyday. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.
What will you do?
Prepares deposits (i.e., incoming checks and cash) for all companies.
Prints outgoing checks for all companies using purchased software, personal computer, and laser printer.
May prepare summaries of daily cash transactions (i.e., cash memos) for Cash Manager.
May code daily cash transactions (i.e. such as cash receipts and wire transfers) for assigned companies.
Performs special projects such as compiling financial reports (i.e., cost accounting expenses and financial database research) or obtaining information from various records and transferring information onto personal computer.
Assists with preparation of electronic statutory quarterly or annual statements and electronic filings using computer software applications by entering data, verifying data is entered correctly, and printing annual and quarterly statements.

High school diploma or GED or equivalent and two years college, prefer a Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
