Located at the Fort Lauderdale Inspiration Center (FLIC) in South Florida, the budding epi-center of the travel and hospitality industry, JetBlue Travel Products works hard to integrate personalization and technology into the airline and the broader travel journey for all JetBlue customers.

JetBlue Travel Products (JTP), JetBlue Airways wholly-owned subsidiary, manages JetBlue Vacations (flight + hotel and flight + cruise packages), travel insurance, car rentals and other non-air travel products. The Rotational Development Program is a 1-year program that will accelerate the development of high-potential contributors by deepening their understanding of JetBlue Travel Products’ Commercial, Financial, and People business areas. As a Junior Analyst, Rotational Development Program, you will gain experience in the development of real-world business solutions that support the delivery of strategic business initiatives and will collaborate across JTP teams to drive data-driven decision making.

The Junior Analyst, Rotational Development Program role requires nimbleness, curiosity, analysis, willingness to learn and a passion for success. This position is a full-time role located in Dania Beach, FL, Ft. Lauderdale Inspiration Center (FLIC). JTP encourages all eligible students to apply for our program, however JTP will not provide relocation costs.

Team Descriptions

Commercial - From marketing, pricing, partnerships, and strategy, this team builds on the understanding of our customers and value proposition and develops both product and strategy to drive revenue growth. Works to identify opportunities to develop and innovate our product portfolio, acquire desired customers, and build partnerships with current and future business partners.

Finance - Establishes finance strategy and grows business through effective planning and execution of business objectives. Determines means to enhance growth, profitability, and value creation by evaluating internal operations, revenue management strategy, effective use of corporate assets, and assessing financial and operational risks.

People - Responsible for all Human Resources related tasks including recruitment, performance management, compensation, crewmember engagement, and crew relations. Collaborates with various teams to support individual needs, strategic direction and drive company culture.

Learn the vacations business first-hand through the customer lens, providing you with exposure to the development and execution of business strategy.

 Essential Responsibilities

Stay informed of JetBlue Vacations and Paisly performance metrics using existing dashboard and reports.
Analyze trends to draw conclusions that lead to changes in our business aimed at improving revenue.

Research competitor and industry trends to ensure that JetBlue Vacations is a leader in the market.
Recognizes, analyzes and models various trends within the business and travel products industry.
Assists teams in proper analysis, collaboration and planning to provide strategic guidance and sound business decisions.
Help develop and report on metrics to measure key initiatives and support real-time business decisions.
Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, and People team members to achieve goals. 
Provide necessary support to peer groups across the JTP organization.
Other complex projects and duties as assigned.

 Minimum Experience and Qualifications

Strong business acumen, results-oriented, forward-thinking seniors, graduate or PhD students currently enrolled in an accredited university; or graduated with a degree within the last 12-months.
Available for full-time employment for 1-year.
Able to secure local housing within commuting distance to the Ft. Lauderdale Inspiration Center (FLIC).
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite.

Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data.
Self-motivated and flexible to a constantly changing environment.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Organized with the ability to multitask.
Proven record of academic, professional or leadership achievement.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Exceptional project and time management skills. 

Effective research skills including the ability to analyze information and make determinations in accordance with company guidelines. 
Must pass a ten (10) year background check. 
Available for occasional overnight travel (10%) 
Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located. 
Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

Passionate about innovation, the airline or travel industry, and JetBlue.

Knowledge of ecommerce and online travel industry.

Crewmember Expectations

Regular attendance and punctuality.
This position is an in-office role.
Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice.

Able to maintain a professional appearance.
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.
Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion, and Fun.
